Quinta da Fonte Souto, near Portalegre, was acquired by the Symington family in 2017 and represents their first wine project outside the Douro region. The property, whose name is inspired by the good availability of water and the large wooded areas, consists of 207 hectares, 42 of which are vineyards. The cool microclimate, soil profile and vineyard maturity allow the production of high quality wines with a very own identity. The wines express the freshness and balance that derive from high levels, as well as the structure and complexity that result from mature low-yielding vines.<\/p>\n
