In the production of this Douro red wine we have an exceptional terroir enhanced by the combination of three different years in a single wine, 2017, 2019 and 2020. A truly unique Douro!<\/p>\n
Five years after the launch of the first Bota Velha bottle, they celebrate the event with a challenge to a winemaker: the creation of a different and unique wine.<\/p>\n
Three years, three vines and two varieties of choice, together with fifteen varieties mixed in an old vineyard, gave rise to a batch that aged for twenty-four months in barrel and which now comes to you in two thousand bottles by the winemaker Tiago Alves de Sousa from Quinta da Gaivosa.<\/p>\n
We suspect that they can keep it for much longer than 25 years, so we suggest that they keep it in sufficient quantity to open it up and enjoy it.<\/p>\n
